Anti-Harassment & Safer Spaces Policy

Atomique Productions (and RIFFLANDIA FESTIVAL) officially adopt, declare and uphold a Zero-Tolerance policy for Homophobia, Transphobia, Sexism, Racism, Religious Discrimination and Harassment. Anyone attending, working, volunteering, or otherwise involved with Atomique Productions, is encouraged to report any such incidents to festival security personnel, harm reduction teams, and/or festival staff. Attendees are also invited to email, which will be monitored throughout the duration of the festival. Complaints will be taken seriously, treated with sensitivity and compassion, and dealt with accordingly.

We will work closely with all security personnel and venue staff to ensure our Code of Conduct is followed, and to ensure that people in positions of authority are given the information and resources they need to properly educate themselves on these important and critical issues.

All-Gender washrooms will be made available festival wide.

Atomique Productions Code of Conduct

Patrons, staff, contractors, volunteers, performers, guests and security personnel will not engage in the following behaviour:

  • Behaviour that is deemed unruly, disruptive, dangerous or illegal in nature
  • Using foul or abusive language or obscene gestures
  • Intoxication or other signs of alcohol or drug impairment that results in behaviour deemed irresponsible
  • Any disruption of the event including but not limited to throwing objects or accessing restricted areas without proper accreditation
  • Harassment which includes offensive verbal comments related to gender, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, religion, sexual images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention.


Based on the severity of the alleged offence, perpetrators on site may be given a verbal warning, or subject to ejection and wristband removal. If an incident occurs a second time, the person is subject to immediate ejection and wristband removal.

This policy applies to all patrons, performers, staff, volunteers, security and contractors.
