This year at Rifflandia, we’re turning up the convenience, and the vibes. Say hello to RFID wristbands, (or as we like to call them RIFF-ID!) your all-in-one pass to a smoother, faster, and easier festival experience.
Whether you're here for the music, the food, the merch, or all of the above, your RIFF-ID wristband is your ultimate festival sidekick. It’s your ticket in, and your digital wallet too!
🔐 What is RIFF-ID?
RFID (a.k.a. RIFF-ID, see what we did there?) stands for Radio Frequency Identification, but don’t worry, there’s no test. All you need to know is that your wristband is now your key to the kingdom. Tap to enter the grounds, tap to pay at bars, food trucks, and merch tents. No fumbling for cash or cards while your favourite act is taking the stage.
💳 Is RIFF-ID Mandatory?
Yes: all attendees will need their RIFF-ID wristband for entry as well as payments.
Using it for payments is super simple.. Want to keep things old-school and just use your debit card or cash at top-up stations? You can. Want to go full digital and preload your wristband using your credit card before you even arrive? Also totally doable.
💥 2 Ways to Top Up Your Wristband
You’ve got options, Riff Fam:
- Top-Up via the Fever App (Google Play Store, Apple Store) – Set it up at your convenience! Create a Fever account, load your wristband with funds, and breeze through the weekend. You can even assign top-ups to friends’ wristbands—no separate accounts needed.
- Top-Up Onsite – Prefer to do it IRL? No problem. Head to a Top-Up Station at the festival and load up using CASH, DEBIT, or CREDIT. Fast, simple, and you're back to the party.
Your RIFF-ID wallet will be available starting next week – all ticket holders will receive an email with instructions on how to set it up!

Can I change the payment method mid-festival?
Yep! Just log into your Fever account to update your credit or debit info anytime.
Can I use a debit card instead of credit?
Absolutely! Debit cards work just like credit for top-ups.
What if I only want to pay with cash?
No problem! Take your cash to a top-up station on-site and we will load your wristband with it!
What if I don’t spend all my funds?
No sweat. After the event you will receive an email with all the information for your refund. Simply fill out a form with your name and banking info and the refund will be processed within a few business days!
What if I bought a Friend or Family Pack?
- Family Pack (2 Super Passes + 2 Kid Passes): All wristbands must be picked up together.
- Friend Pack: Wristbands can be picked up individually.
Does the name on the ticket need to match the person using the wristband?
Not at all! You can give your ticket to a friend; just make sure they exchange it for their own wristband.
Where and when do I get my wristband?
All tickets must be exchanged for a wristband to gain entry to the festival.
