When is Rifflandia Festival 2025?
Rifflandia will take place September 11 - 14, 2024.
Where is Rifflandia Festival Located?
The festival will be held at Matullia Lands at Rock Bay (512, Pembroke St. at the North-west corner of Pembroke St. & Government St.)
What are the hours of the festival?

Are there age restrictions?
Rifflandia is all ages!
Is there re-entry to your venue?
Yes! You can leave and re-enter the festival site.
What are the theme days this year?
Thursday - Glittery Alien
Friday - Ruffled Cowboy
Saturday - Bedazzled Businesswear
Sunday - Layered Creature
What happens if an artist cancels?
Scheduled artists are subject to change or cancellation. Tickets will not be refunded due to artist cancellation(s).
What happens if it's raining?
Rifflandia will happen, rain or shine!
We encourage folks to check the weather before heading to the festival and to plan accordingly.
How do I get to the festival from out of town?
Whether you’re making your way from up-island, hopping the pond from Vancouver, or trekking from down-south in Seattle, there are many options when traveling to Rifflandia!

What can I bring into the venue?
Permitted:
- Empty water bottle, hydration packs (sorry, no glass!)
- Blankets
- Small backpack/bags (bags may be searched upon entry)
- Outside food
- Sunscreen
- Strollers and small children's wagons
- Small parasols
- a ‘Festival chair’ aka short-backed chairs with legs shorter than 8 inches
- And most importantly, a fun attitude!
Not Permitted:
- Chairs with legs longer than 8 inches
- Large backpacks
- Outside Liquids
- Golf or Patio Umbrellas
- Tents
- Coolers
- Weapons
- Outside Cannabis - visit Splifflandia inside the festival for your cannabis needs!
- Pets (unless accredited service animal)
- Drones
- No professional camera/recording equipment unless accredited media
Where can I exchange my ticket for a wristband?
All tickets must be exchanged for a wristband to gain entry to the festival.

RFID Questions
What is RFID?
RFID stands for Radio Frequency Identification—a fancy way of saying your wristband has a tiny chip inside that can securely “tap” to do things.
What does my RFID wristband do?
Your RFID wristband is used for:
- Entry – Tap your wristband at the gates to get in.
- All Payments – Use it to pay for food, drinks, merch, and merch.
What does RFID mean for me?
Faster Service – Less time waiting in line, more time enjoying the music.
Secure & Connected – Your wristband is linked directly to your ticket and account.
Is RFID mandatory?
Yes: all attendees will need their RFID wristband for entry as well as payments.
Using it for payments is super simple.
Want to keep things old-school and just use your debit card or cash at top-up stations? No problem!
Want to go full digital and preload your wristband using your credit card before you even arrive? Also totally doable!
How do I top-up my RFID wristband?
- Skip the line! Scan your wristband QR code to top up online, anytime! By scanning your wristband’s QR code, you can also check your balance and view your full transaction history at any time.
- Top-Up Onsite – Prefer to do it IRL? No problem. Head to a Top-Up Station at the festival and load up using CASH, DEBIT, or CREDIT. Fast, simple, and you're back to the party.
What if someone else bought my ticket?
The person who purchased the ticket is not required to buy the top-ups. Top-ups are not automatically linked to a wristband, and anyone can purchase them separately.
When you buy a top-up, you'll receive a QR code. To preload your RFID wristband, simply bring both your ticket QR code and your top-up QR code when you're exchanging your ticket for a wristband. Our staff will link the top-up to your wristband at that time.
Can I change my payment method mid-festival?
Yep! Just log into your Fever account to update your credit or debit info anytime.
Can I use a debit card instead of credit?
Absolutely! Debit cards work just like credit for top-ups.
What if I only want to pay with cash?
No problem! Take your cash to a top-up station on-site and we will load your wristband with it!
What if I don’t spend all my funds?
- Keep your wristband until the end of the event.
- After the festival, visit: https://cashless.idasfest.com/eventos/devolucion and select “Rifflandia”.
- Enter the 8-digit alphanumeric code printed on the back of your wristband.
- Register your refund.
- Refunds are processed within a few business days.

Ticket Questions
What is the refund policy?
All ticket purchases are final sale, we do not issue refunds or exchanges. Rifflandia takes place rain or shine.
Do you offer layaway plans?
Yes, layaway plans are available for all ticket types!
Just choose your ticket(s), then select KLARNA at checkout to view flexible payment options.
Can I get a physical ticket?
Tickets can only be purchased online through our website and will be delivered digitally.

Does the name on the ticket need to match the person picking up the wristband?
Not at all! You can easily exchange the ticket for a wristband by forwarding the PDF via email or showing a screenshot on your phone.
If a friend gave me their ticket, can I exchange it for a wristband on their behalf?
Yes, you can! Just keep in mind that once the wristband is issued, it becomes your responsibility. Unfortunately, we’re unable to replace lost or stolen wristbands.

You don't need to put on your wristband right away, but please note that lost or stolen wristbands cannot be replaced.
Can I share my wristband?
When you exchange your ticket, you will receive one wristband. Please note: once it's on, it cannot be removed or transferred. Wristband must be worn for the duration of the festival.
What if I bought a Friend or Family Pack?
- Family Pack (2 Super Passes + 2 Kid Passes): All wristbands must be picked up together.
- Friend Pack: Wristbands can be picked up individually.
I bought my ticket from someone—how can I tell if it’s valid?
If you purchased your ticket from a third party or individual, we cannot guarantee its authenticity. The safest way to ensure your ticket is valid is to purchase directly from our official ticketing platform, Fever. Fraudulent or duplicate tickets may be denied entry at the festival.
Kidlandia Questions
Are there tickets available for kids?
A limited quantity of specially-priced tickets for Kids (2-12 years old) are now available!
Kids under 2 do not need a ticket to attend.
Please ensure all kids have appropriate hearing protection.
Please note: age verification is required upon receiving a kids wristband. A birth certificate, passport, or BC Health Services card will be accepted as proof of age.
Kids must be accompanied by a guardian on our festival site at all times.
Can I bring my kids into the VIP area?
Any child aged 2 or older will need a VIP Pass to enter the VIP section
